A use case in BI projects describes how a business user will use data to solve a specific problem. In my experience, a common use case was sales managers tracking daily performance against targets. It helped define required metrics, filters, and data granularity. The challenge was users asking for generic dashboards without clear goals. I worked with them to convert questions into actionable use cases. This guided data modeling and report design. When priorities changed, use cases were updated accordingly. This kept BI solutions aligned with business needs.
