Tooltip-based navigation uses interactive tooltips to provide additional information or navigation options when users hover over a visual element.
Instead of clicking or changing pages, the tooltip can show:
Extra metrics or context
Mini charts or KPI summaries
Links/buttons to drill-through pages
In one project, hovering over a region in a sales chart displayed a tooltip with:
Revenue by top products

A button to navigate to the detailed regional page
