- Row-level data means each row represents one individual record, such as a single transaction or customer action. In my work, I used row-level sales data to analyze order patterns and identify issues at a detailed level. It’s useful for accurate calculations like churn or conversion rates. The challenge is that large row-level datasets can slow reports and tools. It’s also too detailed for leadership dashboards. So I usually aggregate it into daily or monthly summaries. When needed, I enable drill-down to access the row-level details.
